The most recent California Drought was officially from 2012 through 2017, but the lake at Rockville Hills Regional Park seemed to suffer the lowest water levels during the winter of 2013-2014. And then came Fall 2020.No one was using the word "drought," but clearly one was happening.
In the fall of 2018, the rain didn't come until Thanksgiving time. Not quite as bad as some earlier years, but the lake got pretty low. That's also not fog, but smoke from the 2018 Camp Fire.
In 2018.
Also 2018.
This is how the lake looked at the beginning of November 2020.Two of the floats were high and dry and fish were breaking through the surface of the water for more oxygen.
